Soy Candles are made from soybeans, not only making them a safe and natural alternative to petroleum based paraffin wax candles but they are also Vegan friendly renewable and biodegradable. Safer Soy candles offer soft, natural lighting with none of the dangers associated with burning materials such as paraffin wax.
The Wax from Soy Candles burns at a cooler temperature, meaning that your candle will burn for many more hours than a paraffin candle of the same size. This makes Soy Candle Jars the perfect option.
Candle Burning Tips
Trimming: Keep the wick trimmed to 3mm. A trimmed wick will prevent smoke and allows for the cleanest burn possible.
Burn it right from the start: The first candle burn is the most important. The candle wax MUST pool (melt) to the edge of the container on the initial burn. Candle wax has a memory and by not burning your candle to the edge on the fist burn it will begin to tunnel and wont burn evenly the next time.
Clean your Candle: Debris in the candle causes the flame to flicker to high, which leads to soot and blackening of the glass and is also what makes that hissing sound.
Unwanted Smoke: When a flame flickers to much it can produce unwanted smoke. Flickering flames can be caused by a wick that is to long or drafts in the air. Extinguish your candle, trim the wick and check for air currents from heaters, air conditioners and open windows. Relight and enjoy.
